Here is a little about me.
Hello. I'm Taylor! I am 17 years old and softball has been my passion as soon as I started playing. I am a lefty slapper that primarily plays middle infield. The moment I first played softball I realized how much fun it was and how passionate I am about it. Sure, it can be hard sometimes especially since it is a game of failure but my love continues to grow for the game every time I step onto the field. I love the excitement you get from making a good play to getting dirty to getting a great hit or even when a teammate does something exciting.

Here's a little about me - not only do I love softball but I love animals as well. I have a dog, cat, and two guinea pigs. They along with softball hold my heart. My dream is to play college softball and pursue a degree in Veterinary Medicine so I can work with animals and help them live their best lives.

When I was five years old, I was diagnosed with ASD (atrial septal defect) and had open heart surgery. During my recovery, the doctors weren't sure if I was going to be able to continue to play sports. Fortunately, I made a full recovery and was cleared to play sports again.

Every time I step onto the field I always put everything I have out their because I realize how lucky I am to be able to play this amazing sport. You never know when the last time you will step out onto the field is.

Outside of softball, I not only love to hang out with my friends but I also love to bake, volunteer, travel, and go camping/hunting. Growing up I have always loved the wilderness, seeing the world, and interacting with people.
Volunteering at church has especially taught me to communicate with people better and learn valuable leadership skills. Also, serving in the special needs ministry allowed me to not only learn leadership but also patience and hard work.

I am willing to work hard and put in the time to do whatever it takes to improve. I am hopeful that by reading this you will be able to get to know me better as a person and a player.
